2) Complete Your Intake

After you sign up, you’ll receive secure digital forms from our medical record system called Hint Health (symptom + medical questionnaires, meds & history). If recent labs are available, share them; if not, we’ll decide what’s needed.

During your consultation, we take a detailed look at the factors that guide safe, effective hormone therapy decisions:

Symptom Review: Hot flashes, sleep changes, weight shifts, mood, energy, and cognitive concerns.

Medical History: Cardiovascular, breast, bone, and metabolic health, along with surgical history.

Risk–Benefit Profile: Individualized evaluation of when MHT is safe, when it should be avoided, and which formulation (oral, transdermal, etc.) is most appropriate.

Lab Work (if needed): Targeted labs to clarify baseline health and monitor therapy.

Will hormones make me lose weight?
On their own, MHT isn’t a weight-loss treatment. It can improve sleep, energy, and symptom relief—making the 4M plan easier to follow. For weight loss, we use nutrition, strength training, behavior design, and (when indicated) evidence-based weight medications.

Do you take insurance?
I operate a direct-care model. Memberships are cash pay; medications, labs, and imaging are usually separate. You can use any insurance you have for those services at your discretion.

Where do you see patients?
Virtual care is available. If you are seen virtually, you understand you must be physically in Pennsylvania at the time of the visit.

How soon will I feel better?
Many women notice changes within weeks, and momentum builds over months. Results vary by physiology, consistency, and the plan we tailor together.
